VideosForFamily.com
is please to have on our web site, Donna Stewart-Harway with an interview
conducted by Aaron Pacentine, of VideosForFamily.com on Wednesday April 19th
2006.
Donna grew up in the 1930s and was cast in as one of the munchkins from
the Wizard of Oz movie. It was an exciting time both for her and all of the
rest of the wonderful little people that made, The Wizard of Oz what it is
today. This interview personally I (Aaron Pacentine) think is very
entertaining full of stories and of course educational to get a step back
and look at what life was like for a young girl--- like Donna to be involved
in a movie such as this, was "The Wizard of Oz". She shares many, many
stories and some behind the scenes info as well regarding her outlook on the
movie and of course during the time of filming, which is to our site very
exciting as Oz is a big part to this site, as you may have already gathered
! This interview was actually a little over 40 mins long! We had quite the
interesting conversation with her here on at Videos For The Family.
To have many wonderful people in the Oz community that have been already
interviewed and or have been able to actually work with her online and with
this site--- is much, fun ! I want to thank Donna for her time. She is a
pleasant woman and a wonderful storyteller! I thank you for your stories...
I can tell it was taking you back 1939, during the time of filming and
production. The words of someone like you, with the wisdom you have is
something everyone at a young age should really consider and take to heart.
So many young people today, don't care what their parents or their
grandparents think about their behavior. In that sense, listen to the words
of wisdom of Donna and her work on the "Wizard of Oz" so many years ago, I
think you'll really understand our commitment come to life as you listen to
her speak :) We honestly provide and keep providing it here at
VideosForFamily.com inspirational quality family entertainment movies and
more that are fun, exciting and worth your time again and again! And of
course our last line... "You may learn a lesson or two" !
