An Interview With Erin Cottrell
(Missy LaHay from "Love's Long Journey",
the 3rd installment of the "Love Comes Softly" Series)

On Friday January 13th 2006

Videos For The Family commitment, is quality family entertainment and we have something yet again that fits that very well. A family favorite show, that has recently become very popular is titled, "LOVE COMES SOFTLY". It has been produced by Michael Landon Jr. and has been received very well, since this series has began. It is produced in association with the Hallmark Channel and has been airing on their network. The series showcases the lives of several families during their struggles as they learn to overcome the many hardships that they endure and learn to become closer.

This new show is really like a new "Little House on the Prairie" in a way. For one, it's produced by Michael Landon's son. A lot of what Michael Landon Jr. has been taught came from watching and learning from his Dad during his years on "Little House on the Prairie", etc.

Much of the filming for "LOVE COMES SOFTLY" was filmed right in Simi Valley, California!  Everyone can remember, the Big Sky Ranch and where the sets were located from the original Little House Series. Although "LOVE COMES SOFTLY" is not, "Little House on the Prairie", I really believe that this new series, can bring families together to watch, shows like these.

Erin Cottrell, who plays the part of Missy LaHay and was cast also as Caroline Ingalls ABC/Disney's new "Little House on the Prairie" mini series (that aired last March) was able to be interviewed by Aaron Pacentine, of Videos For The Family. She talks about her upbringing, her work on the series, and also working with Logan
Bartholomew. She also talks her the now, pre-production of the new episode on the movie, "LOVE'S ABIDING JOY". Thank you Erin for your time and I hope we can have you back on in the future ! It was much fun and an honor to speak to you about your work with the "LOVE COMES SOFTLY" Series. I want to give a BIG THANK YOU, also to Erin's publicist, Arnold Robinson and also Candice Tab, for arranging me to get in contact with Erin for this interview. It was a very enjoyable time, and I hope that we can possibly do another interview in the near future!
