On Saturday, June 3, 2006, Kristin Foltz sang a beautiful version of "Over the Rainbow" for their annual  show, Steppin' Out '06.Craig Petrou came on stage and proposed to her...using a very interesting Oz themed speech...and then of course he presented her with a engagement ring. Check the full interview out about their experince and also videos of the performance including Craig's proposal!

Judy Garland has delighted millions over the years while she was alive and even after her death in the late 1960s. Here is a clip intro from one of her performances, during the time she had her own short lived, TV Series, "The Judy Garland Show". Enjoy !

A NEW OZ MOVIE IS IN THE WORKS BY AN INTERNATIONAL WIZARD OF OZ CLUB MEMBER-- SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR A NEW OZ MOVIE, BASED ON THE OZ BOOKS !

While the MGM movie is a classic and, I believe, still relevant to today's
audiences, the original book contains some themes that are more relevant now
than ever before and were not expressed in the Judy Garland musical.

A little girl in a strange land facing many dangers for her home and her
family mirror our current war in Iraq. Just the simple fact that our
families are worth going through many dangers for, and some brains, heart,
and courage are a big help! In addition, my new screenplay also features a
little lesson about using these traits. These were not in the MGM film, and,
as far as I know, were not in any other film version I know of.

You see, many of the book's themes have not been carried over in a dramatic
version, thus we have not had a really truly faithful version, and it's been
over 105 years since the book was published! In addition, today's new push
for fantasy films and the technology available could make a version of Oz
completely believable, something that was only done in "Return to Oz" in
1985. A new film version of Oz is very overdue!
